In today’s garden, lawn gnomes bring an
element of fun and childlike wonder.
They are often crafted from terracotta
and then painted with durable colors,
and fired to ensure their longevity and
ability to withstand the outside
elements. Many lawn gnome enthusiasts
may select reproductions of classic
gnome figurines, but there are also
plenty of modern gnomes to select from.
Since many gnomes are featured in
classic stories, fairy tales, and myths
it is also common to find lawn gnomes
that were recreated from these fables as
well as those which are reproductions of
earlier garden figures.
